Watch Out – Bear Crossing Ahead
The adventure begins with a three mile drive through the wildlife park. Like, straight through! From the safety and comfort of your vehicle, witness bears, reindeer, buffalo, mountain goats, elk and more as they go about their life right in front of your eyes.
The highlight of the drive? Bears, bears, and more bears! They are everywhere. Swimming in the pond. Lounging atop rocky outcrops. Hanging out in trees.
Be on the watch as you drive, though. Some bears might be on a leisurely stroll – right next to your car! And, you may just have to stop your car to let a bear cross the road.
Those bears! They are so gosh darn cute. Look everyone. This one’s smiling for the camera! Just please remember – don’t open your windows or get out of the car when driving through the enclosed areas of the park. These bears may be cute and look cuddly, but they are still wild animals.
Bear Country USA is More Than Just Bears
Bear Country USA has over 200 bears in residence, but they aren’t the only critters that call this place home. Other equally cute and cuddly critters, and a few not-so-cuddly ones, may be seen roaming through their own spacious habitats. Keep a keen eye open as you wind through the park. Who knows what you’ll see?
Maybe you’ll see a reindeer munching on grass. Catch a glimpse of an elusive timber wolf on the hunt for field mice. Or drive by a family of mountain goats taking respite from the hot afternoon sun.
And if you look real closely, maybe you’ll spot an arctic wolf napping in the tall grass. He’s a beauty, that arctic wolf.
Nothing’s Cuter Than The Bear Cubs in BabyLand
Are you ready for more frolicking good times? Then park that car and hit the trail for a walk through Bear Country USA’s Babyland. Here you’ll find those oh-so-cute and cuddly baby bears, as well as other baby animals and the smaller residents of Bear Country USA, including raccoons, porcupines and foxes.
Leave plenty of time to hang outside the bear cub area, where you are sure to giggle and laugh at the antics of these playful bear cubs.
Watch with baited breath as they scramble up trees. Be mesmerized as they tumble, slip and slide into the nearby pond for an afternoon swim. Laugh at their delightful antics as they tackle and pounce upon each other in the grass.
The bear cubs are most certainly a hightlight for many Bear Country USA visitors, but don’t spend all your time there! Check out what the other animals in Babyland are up to. Especially the otters. They are quite entertaining as well. So are some of the humans. 🙂
