Spring has finally sprung, and along with it, a bountiful bouquet of blossoming flowers. Warm weather and fields burgeoning with colorful hues of red, pink, purple and yellow, are the perfect excuse for a morning stroll, camera in hand. Thus was my own destiny on a recent warm spring morning, on a mission to capture the essence of a beautiful spring day.
My destination? Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, a world renown botanical garden of tremendous beauty. My objective? To share with the world a plethora of digital imagery sure to please the eye, to inspire creativity. My goal? To honor the mothers of the world this Mother’s Day, and on each and every day of the year.
Without further adieu, here are 15 fabulous flower photos perfect for creating your own special Mother’s Day Card, or to create a special card to celebrate any day!
An Homage To Mothers Around The World
Much like the beauty of spring, so it is time to honor those beautiful women in our lives.
You know them! The moms who have dedicated their lives to their children, their grandchildren, their great grandchildren.
The moms who have brightened our days, fixed our boo-boos, held us when we were sad.
The moms who have been beside us through thick and thin, with us each step of the way.
This bright white tulip is for the mothers who watch over us from high above. Though they may no longer be with us in body, they are with us in spirit each and every day.
These beauties are for the mothers who may not have given birth to our bodies, but are our mothers in every single other way.
This brightly hued field of purple, pink, yellow and white honors your spirit and fortitude.
The world may not see just one single mother, but a field of many mothers.
For a child, that mother is the world. She is that single ray of sunshine in a field of many.
Mothers come in all shapes, colors and sizes, much like a bounty of tulips, foxgloves, daisies, poppies, and columbine emerging from a freshly mulched garden.
A mother is often the ray of light on a cloudy day, a rainbow after a morning shower. She can lift our spirits, filling our lives with happiness.
A mother is as unique as a coveted orchid in full bloom.
She is like the floral decadence of a brilliantly white and yellow orchid.
Mother’s Day is one day of the year dedicated to the celebration of mothers. But every day is a celebration of motherhood!
