Most Tripit travel planning actions go smoothly. But not always. Have no fear! There’s probably a simple solution, and the Tripit Help Center is standing by to help resolve all your Tripit questions. Here are three common situations that I’ve experienced in my own Tripit use, and how to overcome them should they happen to you.
1. You receive this email – Action Required for your Tripit submission
Sometimes that confirmation email is not in “Tripit Ready” format. No problem! Go into Tripit and manually enter the reservation details. Yes I know, that’s not ideal, but once you’ve entered the information, you are good to go. Learn more about Action Required for your Tripit Submission email.
2. Your latest itinerary is not displayed in your account
In most cases, there is a simple solution. Perhaps your email confirmation was imported into a different trip. Or there might be an issue with the email you sent to Tripit. Learn more about Itinerary Not Displaying In Account.
3. Tripit isn’t displaying your most recently entered trip or update
Trip information you just entered isn’t showing in Tripit? Try a manual refresh. Sometimes your fingers move faster than Tripit. Or maybe you are running an older version of Tripit, which has a default setting to refresh every three hours. Find the reason why at New Trips/Updates Not Shown.
Tripit Equals A Well Organized Trip
Tripit is my go-to trip planning tool, and one app I won’t leave home without. It has been invaluable on many an occasion, including the time the hotel lost our reservation, the time the car company wanted to charge more than our prebooked special rate, or the time I left my travel folder at home.
