Do you reward your kids for good grades? Perhaps give them a few dollars for each A, or a shopping trip to a local favorite store? What if your local store also rewarded those great report cards, just like you do? You know, some businesses do. And with free stuff!
Make Good Grades A Rewarding Experience
Your kids have worked hard all school year. They understand the importance of studying hard, of making the grade when it comes to their school work. So why not reward them for all that effort? And what better way than with a free movie, sweet treat, or meal from your local business.
Here’s nine business that consider a great report card worthy of a sweet reward:
It’s back! Family Video‘s annual celebration of great report cards is ready to reward all those A’s! From now until June 30, for every A on that report card, your child can receive a free movie rental. Celebrate the end of school with a movie marathon.
Chuck E. Cheese
Chuck E. Cheese loves kids! And you’ll love their Super Student Award. Bring your kids’ report cards showing proof of good grades to your local Chuck E. Cheese. The reward? Ten free tokens. An outstanding reward for an outstanding school performance.
Chuck E. Cheese also rewards kids for achieving other lofty goals. Kids can earn free tokens upon completing two week goals for great behavior, completing daily chores, cleaning their rooms, being a great listener, and more. Go to the Chuck E Cheese Rewards Calendar, print out the specific Reward Chart, and upon completion of the task, bring the completed Chart and your child to Chuck E. Cheese to redeem their free tokens.
Pizza’s for dinner tonight! And it’s free for report cards with three or more A’ s. Pizza Hut’s Three A’s Program rewards students for good grades with a free personal pan pizza and drink. So have your elementary or middle school student bring in that A-rated report card and score a yummy meal.
Sbarro has a similar program. Get a free slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza and a small drink for a report card with all A’s and B’s.
Eat Mor Chikin! Report cards with all A’s and B’s might just earn your junior genius free chicken nuggets. Check with your local Chick-Fil-A before driving on over. You’ll want to verify that your school has signed up to be a part of Chick-Fil-A’s good grades program.
Straight A’s? Go to the head of the class! Then head straight over to McDonalds, where a straight A report card earns a free Happy Meal. Mmmm, I’m lovin’ it!
I Scream for Ice Cream!
Scoop up some free ice cream for all that hard work. Both Cold Stone Creamery and Baskin Robbins are offering a free scoop of ice cream for good grades. Yum! Ice cream celebrating great grades -what a great way to kick off summer.
Krispy Kreme makes the grades count with a free original glazed donut for each A, up to six donuts total. Now that’s a sweet deal!
How To Cash In On The Freebies
It’s pretty easy. You and your child bring that report card showing proof of a job well done to the participating business. Then let your hard-working child show off those grades. It’ll build pride in what they’ve accomplished.
You might also want to call your local retailer before heading out to ensure they participate in their company’s good grades programs. If the store is a franchise, they may have the option to “opt out” of participating in the program, and you’d rather know before you go. You don’t want a disappointed student on your hands.
