Wow. Can you believe it? It seems like summer just began, then bam! The 4th of July holiday weekend is upon us. July 4th is synonymous with relaxing around a favorite swimming hole, warm summer evenings watching festive fireworks, and of course, backyard barbecues. Where will this holiday weekend find you? Along with festive fireworks, does your 4th of July weekend also include grilling on the barby?
What delicious cuisine will be served up from your grill? Will it be a classic meal, something you’ve grilled many times before? Or will you be grilling something more adventurous, something different from your routing grilling foods? I know what’s likely to be on our own grill over the holiday weekend, as well as most weekends – the classic All-American hamburgers, hot dogs and bratwursts.
Ok, I admit, our go-to grilling foods are not really all that adventurous. I think it’s time to break away from our grill routine, and try something new! Are you with me?

What Are You Grilling This Summer?
Summer time is our favorite time to enjoy a tasty meal hot off the grill. And it certainly is time to break out of our mundane routine of burgers and brats. But which worldly fare to choose? So many yummy choices to consider! In my unofficial household poll, one vote goes to the German Schwenkbraten, and three votes to the Mexican Carne Asada. Looks like Carne Asada will be on our weekend grilling plans. And a schwenkbraten or two for our one dissenter.
How about you? Do you enjoy grilling? What’s your favorite grilled meal? Do you take inspiration from this infographic to try something new the next time you grill? What would you pick from this worldly collection of most popular grilled foods? Do share!
