No wonder outdoor enthusiasts from across the world flock to Moab!
But there’s more than hiking, biking and rafting by which to experience these lands. Take on a different perspective of this stunning desert landscape with one of Moab’s newest adventures. Take the family zip lining high above Moab!
Family Fun On A Moab Zip Line
That’s right! Zip lining isn’t just for adventure junkies! It’s also for families young and old. Even those who are mildly afraid of heights can enjoy the adrenaline rush of ziplining across this terrain of red rock fins and slip rock.
Hang on tight! This adventure is ready to tackle its first challenge, and it’s not a zipline! There’s some serious off-roading required to reach the top of the cliff and the first zip line. Strap on that helmet, because this 4-wheeler’s about to go vertical!
All geared up and ready to jump! Safety is a must for any zipline adventure, and this zip line experience is no different. There’s no jumping off these red rock cliffs without helmets firmly strapped on and a well-fitted harness, all checked and double checked by highly trained zip line guides to ensure a safe ride ahead.
One more safety check before take-off, then it’s time to fly! This Moab zip line adventure includes six lines, the shortest at 300 feet and the longest a whopping 1,500 feet long!
Soaring above the high desert, the La Sal Mountain Range in the background, is certainly a rush. The red rock terrain takes on a whole new perspective when flying high above it!
Hope you’re not too terribly afraid of heights and dangling, narrow bridges. In addition to the six ziplines, a 100 foot long suspension bridge spanning across two red rock fins will also be navigated. You may not want to look down. Or maybe you do!
Don’t worry though! See the straps? They’ll keep you safe and secure, even when the wind blows. Safety is always the priority, even when crossing the suspension bridge. Just hang on tight, take your time, and don’t forget to check out the red rock fins beneath you. It’s a view well worth the glance. And hope there’s no wind!
All exhilarating adventures eventually come to an end. But not before tackling the longest line of the day. Pause for a moment. Contemplate the slip rock spread out before you. Then jump! It’s time to zip the last 1,500 feet of high flying, adrenaline pumping stretch across those ancient sandstone fins.
Look mom, no hands! Go for it! You know you want to. Let go and fly free-handed to the other side. Nothing gets the adrenaline pumping quite like tackling a 1,500 long zip line hands free. This is the perfect opportunity to video the adventure to show your friends and family that yes, you really did fly no-handed!
